HIJAB STYLE FINDS : LONG-SLEEVE MAXI DRESS!
Salaam ladies! Today I want to share with you a really great hijab style find that I discovered tonight on ideeli. It’s a long-sleeved convertible maxi dress by Ravon.
This is actually a plus-size dress but I would recommend that women who are NOT plus-size pick it up. Why? Well, you can see from the pic that it’s a form-fitting dress–which is a hijab style no-no. But, if you are smaller than the size of the dress, it will fit you nice and loosely… That’s why I’m buying one. It’s only $59 and I’m sure that I’ll be wearing it A LOT.
This winter, I plan to pair it with sleek boots and a fur vest, my fave black blazer, a denim jacket… the options are endless! To me this is the perfect LBD, long black dress… This will definitely be $59 well spent. Nice dresses and they look nice on the model. I’m not sure if they would suit me, I’m more of a jeans/long top person, actually I did buy two dresses like this but they are made out of cotton so they sort of felt “flimsy” I don’t know what fabric they should be made from in order to “hang” better. If I had to choose I’d go with the dress on the right and add a little colored cardie and matching hijab.

Can’t locate the dresses on the site, even when clicking on the links, so maybe they are no longer available. But they are nice dresses and $60 bucks isn’t a bad price for something you will get a lot of wear out of :)
I clicked on the link for the maxi dress and could not find anything on the ideeli website, like Ravon or Plus size chic. I really liked the black dress on the left…

I just bought this dress in navy blue and i’m LOVING it. Can’t wait to wear it insha’allah.
These dresses are gorgeous, although if they’re tight, I’d probably pair it with a cardigan or something. I think a problem with fabrics that are light is that they tend to show underwear lines and cause your flesh to ripple when you walk…but a cardigan can fix that because it’ll cover the back and may be some of the front.
