Eid Hijab Styles Contest

safaawlhEID HIJAB STYLES : SAFAA

The Hijabi:
Safaa, 27

Location:
Canada

The Look:
Short dress, denim trousers (aka trouser jeans), cardigan, hijab, silver accessories.

I love it because…
of the neutral color palette. The colors work well together and for those hijabis who are afraid of wearing white scarves, this look is quite inspirational. I also love the paisley print on the dress. Very cute!

What I’d change…
I can’t tell if it’s the dress or the way she’s standing, but I might choose a dress that’s a-line shaped so that it’s looser on the bottom. Other than that, I really like this look.

What do you think of it? Leave a comment to let me know.

I totally agree with you.It is a nice look except for as you said if it was a lined shaped it would be better. A bit too tight at the hips a bit looser at the hips would be great!

As for wearing stockings with open toed shoes..I would not too tacky!

I depends on the shoe and the outfit example if they were all black opaque and a peep toe shoe , not just a sandle

Firstly, Salam Waleykum everybody =)
I love the print and the color on your dress, its a beautiful dress :D
I also liked that she had a white hijab while the rest of the outfit was cute pink.

I would have changed the cardigan cause it goes in the same color as the dress. i would rather wear a cardigan which is longer and in white. because her dress is tight on her hips, the long cardigan would cover her more and she could still wear the dress even if its tight cuz the long cardigan will cover her back. I also would change the accesoires from silver to black or gold. this will take the eyes away from the tight part on her dress :D

machallah u r very beautifull and keep it going :D

asslamo3alykom sisters:

Thank you all for the great compliments! as for the dress, I actually tried it on before purchasing it and it seemed very loose, what happens is that if you sit for a long time it gets wrinkled, giving the impression that it’s too tight, I must admit the fact that it is a silk blend, and the way I posed for this picture doesn’t help! but I truly appreciate all the comments and I would be finding a longer cardigan to probably avoid that in the future.

For anybody who liked the look, it was purchased all from H&m, at 7:00 pm before mall closing time at the night of Eid, can you say last minute.
