Hijab-To-Toe at Target

As you may have guessed, this post is all about finding everything – from hijabs to shoes – all at one store. Today, I’m shopping at Target and the outfit is full of hijab fashion essentials.

The sweater wrap is great because no matter how low cut your clothes are under the sweater, you won’t have to worry about wearing a huge hijab to cover up your chest… So you can make good use of all your smaller hijabs. The gray dress is a perfect base for all your jackets and sweaters. Depending on how curvy you are, you may want to go up a size if you buy this dress. The rest of the outfit is pretty self-explanatory – a paisley pashmina hijab, flats, wide-leg jeans, and a satchel bag. All together it makes a cute and casual look!

FLATS!!! THANK YOU, KIMA!!

I also love the idea of wearing the seater wrap over another article. Finding ways to deal with plunging necklines is a daily hijabi hassle. i usually end up wearing undershirts, but this sweater wrap is a really new and fresh idea. <3

Thanks ladies! :-)

@Aisha: Yeah, plunging necklines are very annoying… You always have to fuss with the scarf to make sure it stays where it needs to be because if your scarf moves, your “girls” will be on display for everyone to see… Not cool!

@Kima I know right? Obviously the ideal solution is to have shirts with higher necklines, but right now I’ve got what I’ve got and I do what I can with it. I have done some pretty “creative” (read: bizarro) things with safety pins to weld the end of a shayla onto a deep neckline trying to make it look natural, like it’s just hanging there, and trying to make sure it does not move an inch.

Abayas, anyone? :-)

Salam , love your site and styles , but this out fit I don’t know the first shirt it kinda hard to wear anything in the top of it , first cause of its neckline beside you need to be re ally really skinny to not to look real fat in this other than that everything is perfect :)
