I don’t mean to judge/offend anyone. I just don’t think calf length lacy dresses go with wide leg jeans, or any jeans for that matter. As pumpmar (the first one) said, wearing a long skirt under it for the “layered look” would be modest and it would actually look very pretty and unique. I also agree with the other pumpmar (the Christian who dresses modestly) that a jewel toned stocking would look good. But wide leg (casual) jeans just don’t look good with a calf length lacy (formal) dress. lol.

I think it depends on your own idea of a modest dress. For some muslims it’s enough to wear opaque tights, for some maybe not tights but skinny jeans or straight-leg jeans, for others even wide-leg jeans are not covering enough. So please don’t judge, just accustom the idea to your personal level of modesty.

The dress is pretty, but…
why on earth would anyone wear a dress that hits below the knees with wide leg jeans?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? It’s pretty long for a sleeveless semiformal dress. In my opinion, you can wear opaque tights and nice shoes with it, as long as you make sure the tights are completely opaque.

im glad some liked my idea but do whatevers cool with you, ive liked that dress for the longest time and since im short ill probably feel comfortable not wearing pants with it, but jewel tones always go with silver and i think a blue jewel tone stocking would look awesome
