No matter what time of year it is, every girl needs a cute little trench for those chilly, rainy days. This pink, lantern-sleeved trench coat is the perfect thing to pair with today’s Islamic clothing find – a dark brown long skirt by Shukr.
We think this look would be great for work. Just add your favorite white button-down shirt, and you’ll be good to go! What do you think?

I think this is a beautiful outfit for work or a nice stroll around downtown … however I would rather pair it off with a black or cream color trench.
I really love the hijab and purse! :)
Great colour combination…Love the trench it’s soo chic.
Ooh I love this! Pink and brown look so nice together. :D
Maybe once in a while you will have something Affordable to wear… everything is like 50 or more. Whats up with that? An average pair of jeans costs 20 dollars…
ahem, the skirt is $33 bucks!! really cheap (especially for shukr) but just goes to show there are AFFORDABLE things posted here :D
Salam ladies! :-) Thanks for the comments. Farah, inshallah we’ll be doing some “Under $50″ type of articles on a regular basis… Actually, one of them is planned for tomorrow!
Honestly, sometimes it’s just difficult to find items that are modest, that go with our vision for the outfits, are inexpensive, and have clear images for us to use in the collages. But with the new articles, we won’t be focusing on outfits, so it’ll be a great way to feature a variety of pieces… Stay tuned, doll!
And just a little fyi… The skirt is $32.95 and the white button-down shirt that is linked to in the article is under $25. :-) …Hope that helps!
LOVE THE PINK! True this site is a great inspiration for hijab girls. Thanks sisters!
I would wear this one to work in a heartbeat! I have a similar jacket but it’s from Macy’s; could it be the same one as from Amazon? :-/ I need a brown skirt to wear with it though now. Too bad there’s none left in my size!!!!!!!!!
I love the look! Brown and pink is one of my favorite color combinations. I got some Pumas that are brown with the pink trim. They would go perfect with the outfit for a more urban causual look.
lovely… :)
WOW. Where do you shop for your jeans?! B.c every jeans i own is $60-$200. This combo is sleek && chic [= i<3it, mashAllah. I actually like the trench coat. Color makes you stand out from all the rest. Black && Brown trench, not if I didn’t want to stand out.
That’s why everyones has their own taste in style && why all off us don’t look alike. Great job guys.
I love it!
I own the skirt in olive green, and it is one of the staples of my wardrobe — basic, classy, easy to mix-and-match, and best of all, machine washable (I’m a high school teacher!).
I do own a similar brown skirt, but never thought to match it with pink. I’ll have to try it! Also, chocolate brown goes quite well with lavender or lilac shades.
Maashaa’Allah! I love brown and pink. =)
I love the outfit! But i’m not into animal prints so I would probably do a different hijab.
Yum!!! This outfit looks Yummy.
I love the pink and brown.
Beautiful ensemble, Sis! Well, brown and turquoise is my absolute fave combo but i’m loving the soft pink with brown too. But alas! the skirt is not in my size..=(
How cute are those boots?!! I’m a boot chik! =)
I dont like Shukr, there stuff is out dated.
These are my favourite type of posts. I adore the object du jour!
I love the pink and brown combo. That jacket is so great!
That skirt is ruined by those hideous pockets. And the outfit won’t really work if you’re short.. it’ll swamp you! Cute trench though.
NICE! I would have never thought to put these two colors together but it totally works! This is why i love visiting this site you get a good dose of fashion and islamic knowledge all on the same page.
We have to keep in mind sisters these are just ideas to get you started. If price is a factor and the items listed are outside of you budget, then print this picture or take a mental note to your local Target, Old Navy, Ross etc. to look for similar less expensive items.
I love the pink and brown combinations. However I definitely would not pair it with that hijab. That’s a bit much. Those boots are rocking though.
I live in Malaysia, a country too hot & humid for trench coats. What would be more suitable but still stylish?
